Guidelines under Bad Weather.. Weather Policy
1) Strong wind signal
No.1 Alert Signal or No. 3 Strong Wind Signal: The meetings will continue as usual. However, everyone needs make their own decision whether to return to the church depending on the rain and road conditions.
Gale or storm signal No. 8 or above: The physical meetings will be cancelled. (Worship service will be livestreamed instead)
- If a gale or storm signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or going to be hoisted during the meetings or three hours before the meetings, the physical meetings will be cancelled or stopped as soon as possible. (Worship services will be livestreamed instead)
- If a gale or storm signal of No. 8 or above is changed to a strong wind signal of No. 3 or below three hours before the meetings, the meetings will be held on time.
2) Rainstorm warning
Yellow or red rainstorm warning: The meeting is as usual. However, the decision on whether to return to the church depends on the rain and road conditions.
- If the red or yellow rainstorm warning signal is hoisted within three hours before the meetings, the meetings will proceed as usual. However, everyone needs to decide whether to return to the church depending on the rain and road conditions.
Black rainstorm warning: The physical meetings will be cancelled. If the black rainstorm warning signal is hoisted during the meetings, the meetings may continue depending on the situation, but must stay in a safe place. After the meeting, the congregation should leave under safe conditions.
- If the black rainstorm warning signal is hoisted within three hours before the meetings, the meetings will be cancelled. The congregation should leave under safe conditions.
